Gilas Women’s 3×3 wins on day one of Singapore competition

MANILA, Philippines– The Gilas Pilipinas Women’s 3×3 basketball team recorded an undefeated performance on the first day of the Jumpshot 3×3 Raise The Game Season 2 tournament in Singapore, held at Marina Square.

The team, consisting of Mika Cacho, Camille Clarin, Jhazmin Joson, and Kaye Pingol, won both of their scheduled matches on Saturday, marking a strong start in the international competition.

Their performance showcased effective teamwork and strategic execution, allowing them to secure victories against their opponents.

The tournament, which features teams from various countries, is known for its fast-paced format, requiring teams to quickly adapt to their opponents’ strategies.

Mika Cacho played a key role in securing the team’s victories, with contributions from Clarin, Joson, and Pingol, ensuring a strong presence on the court.

The team’s cohesive coordination led to effective plays that outpaced their competition.

Camille Clarin contributed with her agility and game awareness, excelling in both defensive and offensive roles. Her performance was essential to maintaining the team’s momentum throughout the matches.

Jhazmin Joson provided crucial points with her shooting accuracy, particularly in tight moments. Her composure under pressure played a vital role in securing the team’s wins.
