New York bus crash toll includes Filipinos, DFA says

A tourist bus overturned on a New York State highway near Pembroke, killing five people and injuring dozens, including Filipino nationals, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) confirmed.

The bus, carrying 54 passengers, was returning to New York City from Niagara Falls when the accident occurred. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to provide medical assistance and transport the injured to nearby hospitals.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash. The bus was part of a tour group that included passengers from multiple nationalities.
