Unbeaten Filipino prospect Ian Paul “Choco” Lora will make his BRAVE Combat Federation debut on September 19 in Zhengzhou, China.

The 20-year-old lightweight from Daraga, Albay, is set to face India’s Owais Yaqoob (3-1) in a three-round bout on the supporting card at Henan TV Studio 8.

Lora, representing Lion’s Den MMA Academy, enters the promotion with a 2-0 record. He has earned one knockout and one submission victory, including a nine-second knockout of Philippine-based Virgin Islander Lolo Cruz last May that drew wide attention from local fight fans.

Yaqoob will also make his BRAVE CF debut. The Indian fighter rides a three-match win streak, highlighted by a second-round TKO last April.

BRAVE CF 98 will be headlined by a rematch for the interim featherweight title between Ukraine’s Omar Solomanov and Kazakhstan’s Rauan “Shymyr” Bekbolat.

The nine-bout card will stream live on watch.bravecftv.com at 8:30 p.m. local time.
