The Philippine American Chamber of Commerce–Greater San Antonio (PACC-GSA), in partnership with the Organization of Filipinos in Texas (OFT), successfully hosted its September Business Networking Event last September 17, 2025, at Susie’s Lumpia House, 7914 Culebra Rd, STE 109, San Antonio, TX.

The evening brought together entrepreneurs, business professionals, and community leaders for two hours of lively discussions, collaboration, and camaraderie. Set in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, the event highlighted the value of connecting people within the Filipino and Filipino-American community to cultivate stronger economic and cultural ties.

One of the key highlights of the evening was the emphasis on community building. Participants noted how the gathering created a supportive environment where they could both learn from one another and contribute to a collective vision for Filipino representation in the Texas business landscape.

The choice of Susie’s Lumpia House as the venue added a cultural touch to the evening. Known for its authentic Filipino food, the restaurant created a welcoming space that not only showcased Filipino cuisine but also provided a sense of home and belonging.

The September gathering formed part of PACC-GSA’s ongoing mission to provide platforms where Filipino and Filipino-American professionals can connect, collaborate, and thrive. Organizers noted that similar events are planned in the future, including workshops and seminars aimed at empowering entrepreneurs and advancing the Filipino presence in Texas’ economic landscape.

For participants, the event was more than just a networking night—it was a celebration of community, culture, and the shared drive for success.
