SAN ANTONIO, Texas –The search for Lina Sardar Khil, a young girl who went missing on December 20, 2021, continues in San Antonio.

Lina, who was three years old at the time, was last seen playing at a playground in her northwest San Antonio apartment complex. The case remains unsolved, and her family is still seeking her safe return.

Lina’s father, Riaz Sardar Khil, has pledged $30,000 of his personal funds to the reward for information leading to Lina’s whereabouts, bringing the total reward to $280,000.

The San Antonio Police Department has been actively investigating the case, conducting multiple searches and following numerous leads. Recently, law enforcement initiated a new search after receiving a tip that could be crucial to the investigation.

Age-progressed photos of Lina have been released to aid in the search. These images show what she may look like now and are part of ongoing efforts to keep the case in the public eye.

Local residents have organized search efforts and vigils, and various organizations focused on missing children have provided resources and support to the family.

Lina’s disappearance has raised awareness about child safety and the importance of community vigilance. The Khil family, originally from Afghanistan, continues to seek answers as the investigation moves forward.

The search remains active, and the San Antonio Police Department urges anyone with information to come forward.
