Formula 1 officials have announced a new contract that will keep the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, until 2034, securing the race’s long-term future at the Circuit of The Americas (COTA).

COTA has hosted the event since 2012 and is widely regarded for its challenging track layout and high-energy atmosphere. The contract extension follows successful negotiations between Formula 1 management and Austin officials.

The United States Grand Prix is among the key stops on the F1 calendar, drawing global fans, teams and media. The renewed agreement is expected to continue delivering major economic and tourism gains for the city’s businesses and hospitality sector.

Formula 1 said the deal reflects its commitment to expanding its footprint in the U.S. and growing the sport’s fan base in North America.

The extension through 2034 reaffirms the success and popularity of the event in Texas and cements the city’s role as a premier destination for international motorsport.
