Mercedes Formula 1 driver Kimi Antonelli is preparing for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku after receiving criticism from team principal Toto Wolff about his performance at the Italian Grand Prix.

Wolff described Antonelli’s race in Italy as “underwhelming.” Antonelli agreed with the assessment and acknowledged that his ninth-place finish did not meet expectations.

He said he will use Wolff’s feedback as motivation to improve in the upcoming race. Antonelli is focusing on correcting mistakes made during the Italian Grand Prix as part of his preparation.

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place following the practice sessions in Baku.
