MANILA, Philippines– Vice President Sara Duterte clarified that former President Rodrigo Duterte remains in good condition in the Philippines, dismissing online rumors claiming he was found unconscious in an International Criminal Court (ICC) detention facility in The Hague, Netherlands.

In a statement, Vice President Duterte said her father stays in the Philippines and is not held in any ICC facility. She added that the circulating posts, which included screenshots and reposts, did not originate from any verified government or international source.

“The reports spread online without confirmation from official channels,” she said, urging the public to verify information before sharing it.

Vice President Duterte confirmed that her office monitors online content mentioning the former president and coordinates with relevant agencies to address misleading reports that could cause confusion or alarm. She emphasized that no official source has verified the claim and that the rumor is false.

She did not provide additional medical details or indicate whether the former president plans to issue a personal statement, but stressed that any updates affecting his condition would be communicated through official channels.
