MANILA, Philippines– Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong announced on Friday, Oct. 3, that anti-corruption groups have shifted their focus to the Department of Health (DOH) after uncovering alleged large-scale corruption within the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Mayor Magalong made the statement in a national radio interview, saying that investigations into flood control projects under the DPWH revealed significant irregularities.

He said the findings prompted investigators to expand their scrutiny to the DOH to identify potential misuse of public funds.

According to Magalong, the move aims to sustain efforts to expose and address corruption within government agencies.

The Department of Health has not yet issued an official statement on the matter.
