Dizon to DPWH: Fill 2,000 vacancies, stop salary delays

MANILA, Philippines– Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon announced the opening of approximately 2,000 job positions within the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), with priority given to promote qualified contractual employees into permanent posts.

Dizon underscored the department’s commitment to improving employment conditions, particularly by addressing recurring delays in salary releases. He assured that measures are now in place to ensure prompt and consistent salary disbursement moving forward.

The initiative is part of DPWH’s effort to provide job stability and boost morale among its workforce, while enhancing operational efficiency by filling critical vacancies.

Dizon encouraged qualified applicants — both current workers and prospective candidates — to apply through official DPWH communication channels for further details and requirements.
