MANILA, Philippines– Siargao-based professional surfer Philmar Alipayo has caught the attention of his followers after sharing a recent photo that appears to show changes to his iconic “224” tattoo.

Initially inked as a matching tattoo with his long-time female best friend, the tattoo had already sparked public interest when Alipayo first revealed it.

In the new photo, Alipayo, who is known for his social media presence, was seen shirtless, displaying his tattoos.

Fans quickly noticed that the “224” design looked altered from its original form, prompting a wave of speculation across social media.

Reports suggest that Alipayo recently visited a tattoo studio where the changes to the “224” tattoo may have been made.

However, the surfer has yet to address the reasons behind the modification, leaving fans eager for an explanation.
