MANILA, Philippines —Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa has responded to Palace Press Officer Claire Castro’s comments on the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte, urging her to empathize with his concerns about the situation.

Dela Rosa questioned whether Castro would “surrender herself to authorities,” citing perceived “injustices” surrounding Duterte’s arrest.

Dela Rosa, who advocates for law and order policies, particularly those associated with Duterte’s administration, sees the actions against Duterte as politically motivated.

Castro reiterated the administration’s commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring transparency in legal proceedings.

Despite this, Dela Rosa remains vocal about his concerns, questioning whether justice is being applied impartially.
