HOUSTON — Three people were arrested following a major drug bust at a home in southwest Houston, authorities said.
The Drug Enforcement Administration said agents discovered drugs hidden throughout the house during the operation.
“Inside this home, drugs were hidden everywhere,” the agency’s Houston office said in a social media post.
Authorities seized more than 4,000 vape pens, 75 pounds of THC wax, 42 pounds of marijuana, three pounds of mushrooms, and an undisclosed amount of cocaine. According to investigators, some of the drugs were concealed inside the home’s refrigerator, oven and microwave.
A spokesperson for the DEA told KHOU‑TV that the agency could not yet release additional details about the case.
“DEA is continuously working alongside its local and state partners to remove illicit drugs from communities,” the spokesperson said.
The Houston Police Department assisted in the operation. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the three suspects who were taken into custody.
