Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick has pledged $1 million from his campaign funds to establish Turning Point USA chapters at every college and high school in Texas.

The announcement follows discussions with the organization’s executives and aims to honor its late founder, Charlie Kirk.

The initiative targets over 200 colleges and more than 1,200 school systems across the state. Patrick said the chapters will foster debate on conservative values and increase student engagement in political discourse.

Turning Point USA promotes conservative principles among young adults, focusing on topics such as free markets, limited government, and individual liberties. Patrick emphasized that the chapters will ensure students have access to diverse viewpoints on campuses and in high schools.

Patrick’s office has not specified a timeline for implementing the chapters. He is scheduled to speak at a Turning Point event at the University of Houston to highlight his support for the initiative.

The pledge represents a significant financial commitment aimed at expanding conservative influence in educational institutions throughout Texas.

Patrick indicated the effort will encourage student participation in political discussions and strengthen conservative representation in schools and colleges.
