Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information on the murder of Isaac Orosco, a 20-year-old who was fatally shot outside an apartment on Houston’s northwest side. The shooting occurred on the night of July 28, 2016.

At approximately 9 p.m., Orosco exited a vehicle when a man in a black SUV opened fire, hitting him in the stomach. Orosco was transported to University Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Despite ongoing investigations, the case remains unsolved.

Authorities are appealing to the public for any information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect. Crime Stoppers assures potential informants that tips can be submitted anonymously. Those providing information that results in a felony arrest may be eligible to receive the $5,000 reward.

The murder took place in a residential area, prompting concern among residents and intensified efforts by law enforcement to resolve the case. Community involvement is emphasized as crucial in solving cold cases like this, where leads may be sparse and witnesses hesitant to come forward.

San Antonio Police, in collaboration with Crime Stoppers, continue their inquiries, reviewing evidence and following up on any new leads. They urge anyone with knowledge related to the incident to contact Crime Stoppers at (210) 224–STOP.
