MANILA, Philippines– The Commission on Elections (Comelec) identified 21 contractors who possibly made prohibited campaign donations during the May 2025 elections.

Comelec Chairman George Garcia announced this in a radio interview. Officials identified these contractors while reviewing the Statements of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCEs) for the 2025 elections.

Garcia noted that a single candidate could have received donations from multiple contractors. This indicates that the 21 contractors identified do not necessarily correlate to the number of candidates involved in the investigation.
