DALLAS, Texas– The University of North Texas’ Center for Human Identification confirmed a rib bone found in December 2024 as belonging to Caleb Harris, aiding in the investigation of his disappearance.
The identification, conducted by the center’s forensic team, advanced the investigation into the missing 21-year-old student from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
Harris had been reported missing, prompting a search by local law enforcement and search teams.
The discovery of the rib bone on the west side of a city provided a lead. After analysis by the University of North Texas’ team, the bone was identified through DNA testing as belonging to Harris.
