Filipino-American singer Bruno Mars has set a new record on Spotify, surpassing 140 million monthly listeners.

Despite not releasing any solo music this year, Mars reached this achievement through collaborations with Lady Gaga on “Die With A Smile” and Blackpink’s Rosé on “APT.”

Both tracks have each surpassed a billion streams, helping Mars reach 140,111,393 monthly listeners in December.

He became the first artist in Spotify’s history to cross this mark.

Mars also debuted at the 2024 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), performing “APT” with Rosé.

The performance earned him his first MAMA award and his first Korean music show award on Mnet’s M Countdown.

On Instagram, Mars thanked Rosé and the MAMA event, humorously calling himself a “K-Pop Juggernaut.”

His record-breaking success on Spotify reinforces his lasting influence in the music industry and his ability to connect with audiences worldwide.
