ALBANY, N.Y. — Olivia Jaquith, co-anchor for CBS6 Albany, went into labor during a live broadcast on Wednesday, May 21. The on-air moment occurred two days past her due date as Jaquith began the station’s three-hour morning newscast.

Co-anchor Julia Dunn informed viewers of the development at the start of the program, while Jaquith herself confirmed on air that she was in early labor. Despite experiencing contractions and her water breaking, Jaquith continued to deliver the news.

The moment was captured on Facebook Live by Dunn, offering viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the unfolding event.
