From P-pop to Coachella: BINI says, ‘Here we go!’

MANILA, Philippines — Filipino girl group BINI will make its debut at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2026, becoming the first P-pop group to perform at the globally renowned event.

Festival organizers confirmed the group’s inclusion in the official lineup on Tuesday, following months of speculation from fans and media.

BINI, formed by ABS-CBN’s Star Hunt Academy, is composed of eight members and has gained popularity in the Philippines and internationally. The group expressed excitement and gratitude on social media, calling the announcement a “dream come true.”

Coachella, held annually in Indio, California, is one of the most prominent music festivals in the world, known for its diverse lineup that spans multiple genres and cultures. The 2026 edition is scheduled to take place over two weekends in April.

BINI’s inclusion is being hailed as a milestone for Philippine pop (P-pop), signaling growing global recognition of Filipino artists in mainstream music festivals. The group is expected to perform several of its hit songs and may debut new music currently in development.

Fans of BINI, known as “Blooms,” flooded social media with messages of support and celebration following the announcement.

According to the group’s management, preparations are already underway to ensure a memorable performance at the festival.

The full Coachella 2026 lineup has not yet been released, but BINI’s early inclusion underscores the festival’s continued emphasis on global and emerging talent. Organizers have yet to disclose BINI’s scheduled performance date.
