Acting Davao City Mayor Baste Duterte departed for Singapore on Friday morning, ahead of a charity boxing match with Philippine National Police Chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III.
The National Bureau of Investigation confirmed Duterte’s departure, stating he left from Davao International Airport.
The Bureau of Immigration also verified this information.
The boxing match is scheduled to take place at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum, with both Duterte and Torre set to face off in the event.
