MANILA, Philippines — Actress Barbie Forteza stars in the upcoming psychological horror film P77, which aims to depict the psychological toll of trauma through a horror lens, she revealed during a recent media conference.

The film centers on the theme of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), using horror storytelling to highlight the experiences of trauma survivors. Forteza said the project seeks to go beyond traditional horror and promote empathy and awareness for those suffering from PTSD.

In P77, Forteza plays Luna, a cruise ship chambermaid who quits her job to care for her younger brother, portrayed by child actor Euwenn Mikaell, after their mother mysteriously disappears. The siblings move into an abandoned condominium unit called Penthouse 77, which becomes the setting for a series of disturbing events.

The film follows their descent into fear and confusion as they uncover the secrets hidden within the unit, blending psychological horror with emotional depth. No official release date has been announced as of this writing.
