AUSTIN, Texas — Austin Independent School District (ISD) leaders have reassured parents that comprehensive safety protocols are in place to protect students as the school year begins.

Officials highlighted improvements in school zone regulations designed to enhance safety for students both during their commute and on campus. The district is actively coordinating efforts to ensure secure routes to school and safer environments within school premises.

The administration emphasized a strong commitment to student welfare and encouraged parents to stay updated on the new safety measures and changes to school zones.
