The Austin Kidney Walk brought together residents to raise money and awareness for kidney disease prevention and support services.

Participants walked together in Austin to show solidarity with individuals living with kidney disease and to advocate for improved resources. Organizers said the event aimed to educate the public and increase access to information about kidney health.

Funds raised from the walk will support research, patient assistance programs, and advocacy efforts. Health professionals attended the event to provide guidance, answer questions, and distribute educational materials.

Local businesses and organizations contributed to the walk, which drew a strong turnout. Organizers plan to continue similar events to promote awareness and encourage prevention efforts within the community.

The program concluded with a call for continued advocacy and support for kidney health initiatives.
