1 dead, several hurt in Fort Worth multi-vehicle collision on I-35W

DALLAS, Texas– A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 35W near W. Risinger Road in Fort Worth, Texas, early Friday morning resulted in one death and several injuries.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found multiple vehicles involved in the crash. One individual was trapped inside their vehicle, and emergency responders worked to extricate them. Despite efforts to save the person, they later died from their injuries after being transported to a nearby hospital.

The number of individuals injured in the crash has not been officially confirmed by Fort Worth police.

Authorities have not released the identities of the deceased or injured, as they are awaiting family notifications.

Fort Worth police continue to investigate the incident, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
