HOUSTON, Texas — Houston Astros sports reporter Julia Morales will reunite with her former dance team, the Kilgore College Rangerettes, at the upcoming Cotton Bowl.
The reunion coincides with the 85th anniversary of the Cotton Bowl and the 75th anniversary of the Rangerettes, making it a celebration of tradition and legacy.
The Kilgore College Rangerettes, renowned for their high-kick routines and precision choreography, have been a symbol of Texas culture and excellence since their founding in 1939.
Their performances have graced major events, including presidential inaugurations and national football games, solidifying their status as one of the most recognized collegiate drill teams in the United States.
Morales, who joined the Rangerettes in the early 2000s, has often credited the team with instilling the discipline and work ethic that have shaped her successful career.
She has maintained a strong connection to the group, frequently sharing fond memories of her time as a Rangerette.
The reunion will bring together former and current Rangerettes, offering a unique opportunity to celebrate their shared legacy.
