MANILA, Philippines — Annie Ramirez said she is targeting strong performances in three international multi-sport events in 2026 after receiving a Major Award from the Philippine Sportswriters Association on Monday night at Diamond Hotel.

Ramirez made the statement after the PSA Awards Night, where she was recognized for her achievements in 2025 in jiu-jitsu and business.

“We have a lot of competitions lined up, we’re back and we’re aiming for better results,” Ramirez said.

She said she will compete in the Asian Beach Games, the Asian Games and the IMAG this year.

Ramirez will begin her campaign at the Asian Beach Games in April in Sanya, China. She will then compete in the Asian Games in Japan in September.

The three-time Southeast Asian Games gold medalist said she will manage her competition schedule while running her coffee business, Ark Cafe.

“Kinakaya naman (I’m managing),” she said. “I have a good set of crew and I also try to do well in time management.”
