MANILA, Philippines– Alas Pilipinas, the national volleyball team of the Philippines, secured the 19th position out of 32 participating countries in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship.
The team made a notable impact as several of its players were recognized among the top performers during the preliminary rounds.
Alas Pilipinas missed the opportunity to advance to the round of 16 following a close defeat against Iran.
The Philippines’ participation and performance in the international tournament highlighted their competitive stature on a global stage.
