MANILA — Reigning Miss Universe Philippines Ahtisa Manalo confirmed that she has a boyfriend during a recent interview, where she discussed her personal life following her pageant win and explained how she manages a relationship while fulfilling her duties as the country’s representative to the Miss Universe pageant.
Manalo said she began seeing her current boyfriend after completing her most recent pageant commitments. She said they maintain open communication about her responsibilities as Miss Universe Philippines and added that the relationship does not interfere with her official role.
She said she continues to prioritize her obligations to the Miss Universe Philippines Organization while balancing public appearances, advocacy work, and personal time. Manalo said she coordinates her schedule with both the organization and her boyfriend to meet her commitments.
Manalo acknowledged public interest in her relationship status and said she chose to address the matter directly to avoid speculation. She said her family and close circle know her boyfriend and support her decision to maintain a relationship while holding the title.
She declined to disclose her boyfriend’s identity and said she intends to keep that aspect of her personal life private. The Miss Universe Philippines Organization has not released a separate statement on the matter and continues to feature Manalo’s official activities on its platforms.
