The match, held in Mandaue City, ended 25-15, 25-10, 25-16, with Segui contributing 13 points and converting 12 of 15 attacks.
Segui expressed her joy at celebrating away from home with strong support from her teammates, notably Shaina Nitura.
The win brings Adamson within reach of sweeping the Cebu leg, as the team eyes continued success in the tournament.
Their coach praised the squad’s cohesive play and strategy, as Adamson remains a top contender in a league that highlights emerging collegiate volleyball talent across the Philippines.
