MANILA, Philippines– Choco Mucho secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference after defeating Chery Tiggo with scores of 25-22, 25-22, and 25-23 on Saturday at the Philsports Arena.

Sisi Rondina played a key role in Choco Mucho’s success, leading the team with her strategic plays and strong skills. Her ability to anticipate and capitalize on the opponent’s movements helped secure the team’s advantage.

Rookie Lorraine Pecaña contributed notably, stepping up during critical moments with her agility and effective communication with teammates. Pecaña’s performance added a fresh dynamic to the team’s overall gameplay.

Veterans Dindin Santiago-Manabat and Royse Tubino also made important contributions. Santiago-Manabat’s powerful strikes and tactical placements challenged Chery Tiggo’s defense, while Tubino’s experience was crucial in supporting her teammates and exploiting weaknesses in the opponent’s defense.

With the win, Choco Mucho advances to the quarterfinals, reinforcing their reputation as a strong team in the league. The team’s focus now shifts to preparing for their upcoming matches in the tournament.

Choco Mucho’s coach expressed satisfaction with the team’s overall performance, noting the importance of each player’s contribution and the effectiveness of their strategies.

As the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference continues, Choco Mucho remains a team to watch, combining experienced players and emerging talent to challenge their opponents.

In summary, Choco Mucho’s win over Chery Tiggo solidifies their position in the quarterfinals of the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference, showcasing their collective skills and strategic play. The Flying Titans continue their strong campaign with confidence as they look ahead to future challenges.
