AUSTIN, Texas — Authorities in Round Rock, Texas, have officially identified the individual who died in an officer-involved shooting on Tuesday.
The incident occurred in the community located just north of Austin, drawing significant attention from both residents and the media.
The deceased has been identified as 31-year-old John Doe. According to the Round Rock Police Department, the incident took place during a routine patrol when officers observed suspicious activity near a residential area.
The officers attempted to conduct a standard check on the individual, at which point a confrontation reportedly ensued.
