SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The San Antonio Spurs and the Oklahoma City Thunder are tied 3-3 in the Western Conference Finals, with Game 7 set to decide which team advances to face the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals.

The Thunder enter Saturday’s Game 7 at the Paycom Center as 4.5-point favorites.

San Antonio fans said they remain confident after the Spurs’ Game 6 win Thursday night at the Frost Bank Center.

Fans gathered Friday at a Spurs fan shop on West Commerce Street in downtown San Antonio, where some expressed concerns about officiating in the series.

Audriy Acosta of Odessa, Texas, said referees would be a key factor in Game 7, citing Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Spurs fans have described Gilgeous-Alexander as a “flopper” and chanted the term during Game 6 when he went to the free-throw line.

Acosta attended Game 6 with Nancy Pool and Nelda Chacon, also of Odessa.

Pool also raised concerns about officiating and said the Spurs needed to adjust their defensive approach.

She said Spurs center Victor Wembanyama should play more near the basket.

Tip-off for Game 7 is scheduled for Saturday at 7 p.m. The game will air on NBC and Peacock.
