Newly released emails reveal communications between Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and author Michael Wolff that reference current U.S. President Donald Trump, according to House Democrats.
The emails reportedly include a 2019 claim from Epstein suggesting that Trump was aware of Epstein’s activities involving underage girls.
The correspondence involves three separate exchanges: one between Epstein and Maxwell, and others that include Wolff, known for his political and celebrity reporting.
In one email, Epstein allegedly tells Maxwell that Trump had knowledge of “the girls,” drawing renewed attention from lawmakers and the public.
House Democrats stressed that the emails warrant further investigation to understand Epstein’s network and potential connections to high-profile individuals. They emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability in uncovering the full scope of Epstein’s operations.
While Epstein had ties to prominent figures, including Trump, there is no evidence directly linking the president to Epstein’s criminal activities. Trump has acknowledged knowing Epstein but denies any involvement in his illegal actions.
The emails with Wolff remain less clear in context, though their release adds to scrutiny over Epstein’s associations with influential figures. Epstein’s criminal connections have been the subject of ongoing investigations and public attention since his arrest and conviction.
