The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) is investigating a robbery that took place at an ATM on the south side of the city. The incident occurred when masked gunmen targeted a worker servicing an ATM outside the Security Service Federal Credit Union.

The robbery happened in broad daylight around 11 a.m. CT The suspects stole cash from the machine before escaping the scene in a white Audi SUV. Witnesses identified the vehicle, and law enforcement is actively searching for the suspects. The worker who was at the ATM during the robbery did not sustain serious injuries. Witnesses at the scene provided surveillance footage, which police are using to aid in the investigation.

Authorities have suggested a possible connection between this robbery and similar incidents in the area. They are exploring links to establish patterns that could point to the involvement of the same suspects in multiple cases. At this time, the SAPD has not made any arrests related to this incident. The investigation is ongoing, with police urging anyone with information to come forward.

Aggravated robbery charges could be filed against the suspects once identified and captured. The SAPD continues to gather evidence, and the community remains vigilant as the search for the perpetrators progresses. Residents in the area have expressed concern over the recent spate of robberies, prompting heightened awareness and caution among those using ATM services. The police are advising residents to be cautious and report any suspicious activities.

There have been additional reports of attempted ATM thefts in other parts of San Antonio. The SAPD is coordinating efforts to address the rise in these crimes. Enhanced patrols and increased surveillance are part of the measures being implemented to prevent further incidents.

The police department is urging the public to provide any information that might lead to the identification and apprehension of the suspects involved in the ATM robbery. This appeal for public assistance is crucial as the investigation continues to unfold.
