San Antonio police are offering a $5,000 reward for information related to a fatal crash involving a stolen Chevrolet Camaro that occurred on July 17.

The collision, which happened on a busy highway in San Antonio, resulted in the deaths of five individuals who were traveling from Fort Worth to Eagle Pass.

Authorities have released a photo of the vehicle prior to the crash in an effort to generate new leads. According to investigators, the stolen Camaro was reported to be speeding and weaving through traffic shortly before it collided with another vehicle.

Among the deceased was 79-year-old Judith Brooks Paulsel of Fort Worth. The victims’ families have been notified and are cooperating with investigators.

The crash occurred on a section of highway known for heavy traffic, which may have contributed to the severity of the incident. Witnesses reported erratic driving behavior by the Camaro before the collision.

Officials emphasize the importance of public assistance in the case. Crime Stoppers is accepting anonymous tips through its confidential hotline, and individuals who provide information leading to an arrest may be eligible for the reward.

The investigation remains ongoing.
