PAOCC cracks down on another Chinese-led POGO
The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) rescued 34 Indonesian nationals from a Chinese-run offshore gaming operator hub in Pasay City. The rescue operation followed a tip-off from an Indonesian national claiming unlawful detention at the Kanlaon Tower on Roxas Boulevard. The PAOCC, along with other agencies, conducted the successful operation, highlighting ongoing issues with unauthorized detentions in such establishments. As authorities investigate, the rescued individuals are in protective custody, with updates pending on the legal actions against the operators involved.
