2 killed in eastern Dallas shooting

Two people were shot and killed in eastern Dallas on Friday night.

Police received a report at around 9:50 p.m. about a vehicle that had driven into a front yard.

Officers arrived at the scene and discovered that two individuals had been shot. Both victims were pronounced dead at the location. Police have not released the identities of the individuals pending notification of their families.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.

The investigation is ongoing, with police following up on all leads.
