14-Year-Old Boy Shot and Killed in Houston

Houston police are investigating the shooting death of a 14-year-old boy found in a car on Saturday afternoon. Authorities responded to a call at 8800 Hammerly Blvd around 12:45 p.m. and discovered the teen in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle with a gunshot wound.

Houston Fire Department officials pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The investigation into the teen’s murder is ongoing.

According to reports, the victim was last seen interacting with a Hispanic female, who was followed by a Hispanic male described as wearing a black hoodie, blue pants, and black sandals. The male was also carrying a black and white Nike backpack. Witnesses reported seeing the pair running into a nearby apartment complex shortly after the shooting. 

Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
