BCSO seeks help finding missing 15-year-old girl who left home

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Authorities are actively searching for Ricaria Pates, a 15-year-old girl reported missing from her home in Houston.

She was last seen leaving her residence on Winding Draw Drive at approximately 8 p.m. on Thursday.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has issued an alert and is seeking public assistance to locate her.

Pates is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing around 90 pounds.

She has distinctive brown eyes and black hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a beige hoodie, gray sweatpants, and black crocs.

Her family and law enforcement officers are urging anyone who has seen Ricaria or has information about her to contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office immediately.

The search for Ricaria involves both local police and volunteers who have been distributing flyers and canvassing the area.

Officers have been examining surveillance footage from nearby businesses and residences for any clues that might lead to her whereabouts.

The community has rallied together in support, with many sharing her photo on social media and spreading the word.
