DALLAS, Texas — The Fort Worth City Council approved a substantial investment of $13.4 million for the development of a new park adjacent to Eagle Mountain Park.
Fort Worth officials believe combining the new facility with the established park will create a broader area for residents and visitors to enjoy various outdoor activities. The proposed park will cater to a growing demand for recreational spaces.
The $13.4 million budget will cover various aspects of the park’s development including landscaping, construction of trails, installation of recreational equipment, and other infrastructure needed to make the park accessible and enjoyable for the public.
Officials have not disclosed a specific timeline for the completion of the park. However, planning and initial stages are expected to begin soon.
