BTS member Jungkook recently captivated fans worldwide during a Weverse live session, transforming it into a three-hour musical experience.
The singer, currently serving his mandatory military duty, connected with ARMYs across the globe despite the restrictions of his service. The session attracted 20.2 million real-time viewers.
Jungkook is fulfilling his military obligation alongside fellow BTS members RM, Jimin, Suga, and V.
During a break from his service, he used the opportunity to reach out to fans. The live session started with Jungkook sending a warm message to his followers at midnight.
He expressed concern for their well-being and encouraged them to stay healthy. “Knock knock. Has everyone been well? Are you healthy? Don’t get sick, and make sure you’re eating your meals,” he wrote, adding a heartfelt “I miss you.”
Initially intended as a casual interaction, the session quickly turned into an intimate karaoke event. Jungkook sang a variety of songs, including tracks by Bruno Mars and Blackpink Rosé’s hit “APT” and “Winter Ahead.”
Despite fans requesting BTS songs, Jungkook declined to perform them, stating, “I won’t perform BTS songs alone. I will perform them with the members.”
Beyond music, the live session allowed Jungkook to share his experiences from his time in the military.
He openly addressed several controversies, including negative comments aimed at his pet. He also shared glimpses of his home but requested fans not to visit or send gifts, emphasizing the importance of his privacy.
