AUSTIN, Texas — A 29-year-old man from Kyle, identified as Daniel Duran, was arrested last week on charges of stalking and resisting arrest.

The arrest followed an incident involving a teenage girl at a local convenience store.

According to the Kyle Police Department, Duran had allegedly pursued the 13-year-old inside the store before waiting for her outside and attempting to chase her once she exited.

The incident was reportedly caught on surveillance cameras.

Footage from the store showed Duran following the teenager through the aisles.

He later waited outside for the girl to exit before beginning to chase her, the police report stated.

Upon locating Duran, officers from the Kyle Police Department apprehended him. During the arrest, Duran allegedly resisted, leading to an additional charge. He was subsequently taken to Hays County Jail, where he remains in custody with charges of stalking and resisting arrest.
