Consul General highlights Filipino nurses’ impact on healthcare at PNAA gala

Consul General Gunther Sales joined officers and members of the Philippine Nurses Association of America, Inc. (PNAA), in their 20th South Central Region Royal Masquerade Ball on 16 November 2024.

In his remarks, Consul General Sales highlighted the significant contributions and impact of Filipino nurses in Texas and the United States.

He underscored their important role in enhancing overall patient care in the healthcare industry as well as commended them for their extraordinary work and selfless service.

The gala followed a two-day PNAA leadership conference of the 20 chapters of the South Central Region covering the states of Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee, focused on knowledge and skills enhancement in leadership, education, research, and exemplary clinical practice.

Dr. Marlon Saria, PNAA President; Dr. Riza Mauricio, PNAA South Central Region Vice President; and Mr. Joselito Muncada, PNA North Houston President and event/conference host, spearheaded the activities.
