Family of missing Texas State student Jason Landry gathers for vigil

AUSTIN, Texas –A vigil was held for missing Texas State student Jason Landry, marking four years since his disappearance.

Landry went missing on December 13, 2020, while traveling home to Missouri City from San Marcos, Texas.

The vigil was held at the site where his vehicle was discovered crashed and abandoned.

His car was found along a rural roadway with his personal belongings still inside, including his phone and wallet.

The Landry family has hosted a vigil each year since his disappearance.

Law enforcement agencies have been involved in the investigation since Jason’s disappearance.

The Texas Attorney General’s Office took over the case in 2022, but no breakthroughs have been made.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities continue to encourage anyone with relevant information to come forward.
