MANILA, Philippines — A Filipino American nurse, Helen Grace Arceo, recently won a house and lot worth P1.8 million through a raffle organized by the Department of Tourism (DOT).

The raffle is part of the “Bisita, Be My Guest” (BBMG) campaign. The event aims to encourage overseas Filipinos and foreigners to explore Philippine tourism.

In addition to the house and lot, Arceo received a complimentary stay for four days and three nights at The Marison Hotel in Legazpi, Albay.

Round-trip tickets to Legazpi, courtesy of Cebu Pacific, were also part of her winnings.

Arceo expressed her appreciation to the Department of Tourism during the event.

In a related social media post, DOT Secretary Frasco mentioned that the “Bisita, Be My Guest” program offers overseas Filipinos and overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) a chance to win various raffle prizes.

The program encourages these individuals to invite foreigners to visit the Philippines.

Frasco described the program as a movement driven by love—love for the country, family, and the family values that are uniquely Filipino.

Participants of the BBMG were eligible to enter raffles for numerous prizes, ranging from house and lot packages to travel vouchers.

The second raffle in the campaign saw several participants winning exciting prizes.

Some of these included shopping vouchers, vacation packages, and tickets for both international and domestic travel. The grand raffle draw, scheduled for December 16, promises even more prizes.

Among the anticipated rewards is a condominium unit.
