SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A 36-year-old man was arrested for allegedly killing a woman in a field near a shopping center in San Antonio.

Christopher Michael Hottell has been charged with manslaughter and aggravated assault causing bodily injury.

The police have not released details about how they linked Hottell to the crime, but their investigation yielded evidence pointing to his involvement.

Back in July 2023, an ATV rider discovered the lifeless body of a woman in a field near a shopping center at the intersection of  Summer Fest Drive and Foster Road.

The trial is expected to shed more light on the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death and Hottell’s alleged involvement. It will also serve as a platform for both the prosecution and defense to present their arguments and seek justice.
