K-pop group UNIS, along with P-pop groups BINI and SB19, have come forward to support victims of Typhoon Kristine in the Philippines. Major Philippine entertainment figures are uniting to assist those impacted by the severe tropical storm. The storm, known locally as Kristine, is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) soon, but its effects on the community are significant.

UNIS, rising stars in the K-pop scene, announced their relief efforts during a press conference held on Thursday, October 24. They are joined by renowned P-pop groups BINI and SB19. These groups have decided to utilize their platforms to raise awareness and gather support for the victims of Typhoon Kristine. BINI has pledged to donate proceeds from their concert, the “BINIverse,” to aid those affected. They have committed a substantial amount of PHP 1 million for this cause.

SB19, another popular P-pop group, has also been actively involved in relief efforts. They joined forces with their fandom, known as A’TIN, to generate funds and collect donations. Both groups are focusing their efforts on providing immediate relief to those in need. They are collaborating with local organizations and charities to increase the impact of their contributions.

In an effort to maximize reach and effectiveness, these groups are using their social media platforms to draw attention to the ongoing relief efforts. They are encouraging their fans and followers to support the victims by making donations, volunteering, or participating in organized relief operations. Their initiative is part of a broader effort by celebrities and influencers across the Philippines to deliver aid and support to those affected by the storm.

The Philippine Red Cross has issued an emergency appeal for donations to assist with their preparedness and response operations. They are providing essential services such as food, water, and medical assistance to areas hardest hit by Typhoon Kristine. Reports from PAGASA, the national meteorological agency of the Philippines, confirm that Kristine is expected to exit the PAR soon. However, the storm has already caused significant damage in various regions, particularly in the Bicol area, which experienced heavy rainfall and flooding.

The government, led by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., has implemented continuous rescue and relief operations in regions affected by the storm. Marcos assured the public that the government will continue to offer aid and assistance to those impacted. The government’s efforts are focused on evacuating people from high-risk areas, providing emergency supplies, and ensuring that relief reaches those in need.
