Fil-Am talent lands role in The Devil Wears Prada 2 sequel

Filipino American actor Conrad Ricamora has joined the cast of “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” a sequel to the 2006 film, alongside returning stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci.

Cameras have started rolling for the film, bringing forth a new chapter in Miranda Priestley’s fashion empire.

Ricamora, known for his roles in “How to Get Away with Murder” and Broadway productions, joins the ensemble with other newcomers including Kenneth Branagh, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, Caleb Hearon, Simone Ashley, and Helen J. Shen.

Branagh is set to play Miranda’s husband in the film. Ricamora shared his casting news with a red sandal emoji on Instagram, though details of his role remain undisclosed.

Meryl Streep was recently seen at the SNL50: The Anniversary Special at Rockefeller Plaza in New York on February 16, 2025. Anne Hathaway attended “The Apprentice” premiere on October 8, 2024, in New York.

Conrad Ricamora appeared at the 78th Annual Tony Awards Meet the Nominees event held at the Sofitel New York on May 8, 2025.
