Gilas Pilipinas Women lost to South Korea 80-58 in the 2025 William Jones Cup on Friday in Taipei.

The match followed the Philippines’ overwhelming 83-66 victory over Thailand on Thursday.

The team started slowly against South Korea and was unable to recover, marking their second defeat in the tournament so far.

Philippines’ performance against Thailand was highly commendable, showcasing strong tactics and coordination.
